Is Overskill legit? The company, its founders, its terms and your data

Is Overskill legit? Who runs Overskill

Overskill is run by Overskill, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and its pages name the company, its founders and its terms. Overskill's About page, last updated September 23, 2026, says it was founded in 2025 by Todd Dickerson (Founder and CEO), Russell Brunson (Co-Founder), Jason Sanzone (Co-Founder and Head of Design) and Ashley Dickerson (Co-Founder).

What Overskill's terms say about your money

The Terms of Service are headed "Last Updated: 17 October 2026", require users to be adults and are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware. This page summarizes the terms and is not legal advice.

Overskill Starter is $25 a month, billed monthly, as read on October 18, 2026, and the terms let Overskill change pricing with 30 days' notice. Credits you purchase are non-refundable. Refunds of other fees follow what the terms call "our refund policy".

Overskill's plans article says canceling takes effect at the end of the paid period, and one help article tells Games sign-ups to ask support to cancel, so cancel from Account then Billing and ask support if you do not see the option. Overskill's pages read on October 18, 2026, show no money-back guarantee and no free plan.

Overskill security, data location and uptime

Overskill's help center says Overskill does not hold a SOC 2 certification of its own at this time, and its Trust Center says it does not currently offer in-region data storage, such as EU- or Japan-resident storage. Either gap makes Overskill a poor fit for a buyer who needs it.

Overskill's help center puts generated-app data in AWS us-east-1, while its Trust Center says new apps use Cloudflare D1 in North America and older apps use AWS us-east-1, so ask for the current location if it matters to you.

On October 18, 2026, Overskill's status page showed the app builder with degraded performance and hosted apps operational. That is one reading; open the status page on the day you decide.

The beta, invite codes and Overskill Games

Overskill's join page reads "Invite-only beta · Request access", says to use a valid invite code or join the waitlist, and adds that some offers require checkout. The terms say beta features can change without notice. The Overskill invite code guide covers the routes in.

The terms also say a referral link or invite code may share your name and email address with the referrer. Overskill Games, a promotional hackathon, has closed, and its rules said a qualifying entry needed bought credits.

A buyer who wants to try a builder before paying anyone should start with Lovable: its free plan gives 5 daily build credits, up to 30 a month, with no credit card. Overskill has no free plan, and a new account starts with 500 credits, so it suits a buyer ready to pay under beta terms. See the Overskill review and what is Overskill.
