Get started with Overskill →Overskill: subscriptions, one-time sales and a marketplace
An Overskill app can sell subscriptions, one-time purchases and a marketplace listing, all from the same app, per Overskill's help center. A seller can also put buyer credits in a plan: an AI allowance that your customers' usage draws down, at a markup you set.
Two gates apply. An app cannot accept payments until it passes Overskill's approval review, and cashing out to a bank needs a one-time identity check. Checkout never runs in the editor preview, and Overskill provides a 100% off test code for a complete $0 purchase.
The checkout charges for access to the app, not for a cart of products. For a store or booking tool that charges per order, Overskill names an external checkout link or your own processor, with keys saved in the editor's Env Vars tab.
Payment fees on Whop
Overskill's terms say you pay Whop's published processing fees. Whop's fee page lists 2.7% + $0.30 per successful transaction for domestic cards, plus 1.5% for international cards and plus 1% when currency conversion applies. A next-day ACH payout is $2.50 per successful payout.
A refund returns the customer's money but not the card-network fee, and a lost dispute is not returned. Accounts processing more than $250,000 a month can email Overskill about volume discounts. Overskill says the seller stays responsible for registering for, filing and remitting tax where required.
Lovable, Bolt, Replit and Base44 payments
Lovable's built-in payments need a paid plan and use Paddle; a merchant of record is the legal seller that handles payments and sales tax. On the Free plan, you can connect your own Stripe account instead.
Bolt connects Stripe for one-time payments or subscriptions. Replit's agent sets up a Stripe sandbox, then you connect your live account, on paid plans. Base44 Payments run under the Wix Payments terms and its service fees.
Who should pick which builder to sell online
Pick Overskill to sell access to one app through subscriptions or one-time purchases; its access is an invite-only beta, or checkout, per its pages on October 18, 2026. Pick Lovable for built-in payments with a merchant of record, and Bolt or Replit to take payments through Stripe.
