Build a SaaS product with AI: start with one paid job
You can build a SaaS product with AI and no code: describe one paid service to an AI app builder, add sign-in and subscription plans, and run a test checkout before launch. SaaS means software that customers use online and pay for by subscription. If you charge per project and send invoices, you do not need a subscription app.
Choose one important task for the first version, and add more once it works reliably. Describe that task in plain English.
Overskill apps can sell subscriptions and one-time purchases through a built-in checkout that runs on Whop; Overskill plans start at $25 a month, billed monthly, as read on October 18, 2026. The best AI app builder for online business list sets the payment options side by side.

Get started with Overskill →Sign-in and subscription plans
- Add sign-in. Overskill says it is required for subscription-style apps. Its built-in sign-in uses a shared Overskill account, so your customers create or reuse one.
- Tell the builder what to charge. It asks whether the whole app is paid or only some features, plus the price, billing period and signup page. Overskill lists monthly, yearly, one-time and tiered price models.
- Choose what the paywall covers: the whole app or a single feature. A customer who cancels keeps access until the end of the current billing period.
- Decide the AI allowance. Buyer credits are an AI allowance that comes with each plan you sell, drawn down by your customers' usage at a markup you set.
One app can sell subscriptions, one-time purchases and a marketplace listing.
Checkout, the payment review and payouts
Two separate gates apply. Before an app can accept payments, you fill in your business details in the payment verification panel and pass Overskill's approval review. Before you withdraw to your bank, a one-time identity check asks for a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver's license.
Overskill's checkout never runs in the editor preview. Overskill gives sellers a 100% off test code to run a complete purchase through their own checkout for $0 before the first real sale.
Card payments run on Whop, the payment processor behind Overskill's checkout. Whop's published rates are 2.7% + $0.30 per successful domestic card payment, 1.5% more for international cards, and $2.50 per next-day ACH payout to a US bank account. A refund returns the customer's money but not the card-network fee.
What you answer for to your customers
Overskill's terms make you solely responsible for your end users and say Overskill disclaims liability to them. You are responsible for reviewing and testing generated code before deployment, and the terms say not to rely solely on AI-generated code for critical applications without human review. Healthcare, financial services and legal uses are named as your own responsibility.
Overskill's selling article says you can refund a one-time purchase from your payments dashboard, and its tax article says you stay responsible for registering for, filing and remitting tax where required. This is not legal or tax advice.
What the product costs to run
Overskill's Starter plan, $25 a month billed monthly, includes 2,500 credits a month, its unit for AI work. If you publish an app with AI features, you, the owner, pay for the AI your visitors use. Overskill says one visitor AI action on its model tiers costs single-digit credits, while voice, sound effects and music are priced per character or per second. Hosting and sign-ins cost zero credits.
The limit to plan around is the checkout: it charges for access to the app, not a cart of products, and takes no payments until the review passes. Pick Lovable for built-in payments from its Pro plan, or Bolt (bolt.new) to connect Stripe for subscriptions and one-time payments. See how much it costs to build an app with AI and can I sell an app I made with AI.
